Participants are assigned to high cash or low cash groups in an 18-month research study. The captured page does not state either payment amount.

Apply

Who can apply

  • The applicant must be pregnant.
  • Applicants in ARC-designated counties in West Virginia, age 18 or older and at most 14 weeks pregnant.

Documents to gather

  • Proof of pregnancy

    • Patient's name.
    • Clinic's name, location, and contact information.
    • Date of the visit to the medical provider.
    • Expected due date.
After you apply
  • Participants are randomly assigned to a high cash or low cash group. Both groups take part in the research study.
  • The research study lasts 18 months.
