Your vault: your saved answers and documents

Save your answers and documents once. When you apply for help, Front Door fills them into the agency's form for you.

If you are not signed in, we ask you to sign in or create an account first, then take you to your vault.

  • What you can save

Answers to the questions most applications ask: about you, your household, income, work, housing and child care. Documents agencies often ask for, like a photo ID, pay stubs, a lease or a birth certificate.

  • Sensitive numbers stay locked

Your Social Security number, ID number and bank numbers are encrypted when you save them. We show them with most digits hidden, like ***-**-6789. They are unlocked only when you ask to see them, or to go on a form you are filling out.

  • We fill in the form. You read it and sign.

Front Door puts your saved answers on the agency's form, so you do not type them again. You read every answer, fix anything that is wrong, and sign it yourself. Each agency gets only the answers its form asks for, and only after you agree.

  • See who used it

Your vault keeps a record of every time something is saved, shown, shared or put on a form, and which agency got which answers.

  • Change it or delete it

Change an answer and every future application uses the new one. You can remove a document at any time, or delete everything from the Privacy page.
