After you apply
  • Office of Housing staff review and process the application.
  • After approval, a Property Rehabilitation Specialist assesses your side sewer and helps you get bid estimates.
  • After a contractor is chosen, Office of Housing prepares and records the loan documents. Repairs can start only after the loan is completed and all documents are signed.
  • Processing time varies.
  • Staff approval comes before the property assessment and bid estimates.
Before you send it
  • Do not start repairs before the loan is completed and all loan documents are signed and recorded.
  • The program does not pay for fast emergency service, sewer maintenance, clearing or jetting, installing only a liner, or repairs done before loan documents are recorded.
What we could not check
  • The page lists no deadline and offers paper and online applications. Sewer funding and any waitlist have not been confirmed.
  • Some details here could not be confirmed. Check with City of Seattle Office of Housing before you apply.
